Avec le soutien financier de l’Union européenne, ThermHex Waben GmbH et l’Institut Fraunhofer pour la microstructure des matériaux et des systèmes IMWS mènent conjointement des recherches sur des procédés économes en ressources pour la fabrication de structures sandwich thermoplastiques durables et adaptées à la production en grande série, destinées à des applications légères fortement sollicitées, dans le cadre du projet « EffiSand ».
