ThermHex Waben is going to present itself at the 7th “VDI-Leichtbaukongress” on June 13 and 14 in Leipzig. For the first time the VDI (“Verein Deutscher Ingenieure” − the association of German engineers) hosts the lightweight construction congress together with Carbon Composites (CCeV).
The trend of lightweight construction will be examined holistically during the congress. The focus is on technology hybrids with composites, best practices in lightweight construction and the importance of lightweight construction for e-mobility. Executives and specialists from various sectors discuss current challenges and show solutions for all components and materials. A special agenda is a factory visit at Porsche and BMW, which are offered exclusively.
Apart from lectures by experts from the companies Audi, Daimler and Samsung, ThermHex Waben GmbH also exhibits at the congress in Leipzig at stand 3. The company presents product variations of its polypropylene honeycomb cores, gained from the patented continuous manufacturing process.
