In the span of less than two weeks EconCore and ThermHex Waben have successfully exhibited at composites shows on two continents, at Composites Europe in Germany and CAMX in the USA. The high degree of organization of these two trade shows and the quality of attendees they attract enabled EconCore and ThermHex Waben to exceed expectations as exhibitors. There were many substantive engagements in Europe and the USA at Composites Europe and CAMX concerning EconCore’s lightweight honeycomb products, its technology, and numerous application areas. Attendees of Composites Europe were especially attracted to the Porsche 550 Spyder replica on EconCore’s stand that demonstrated the weight reduction achievable using ThermHex. By using 3.5mm ThermHex PP honeycombs, the weight of the car can be brought down below 550kg. Thanks to Composites Europe and CAMX, EconCore and ThermHex Waben remain in the middle of the exciting and innovative composites industry.
