International experts on sandwich materials and structures will gather in Lausanne from 19 to 22 August. At the “International Conference on Sandwich Structures” (ICSS), researchers and practical experts will find a suitable forum to discuss current trends and innovations in the industry. The focus is on sandwich structures and materials used in aerospace, automotive production, shipbuilding, construction and architecture.
ThermHex CEO Jochen Pflug will also be present. He will speak about ThermHex Waben GmbH and its polypropylene honeycomb cores during the “Industry Session” on August 21 from 2:20 p.m. in room SG1. The day before − on August 20 from 3:25 p.m − he will also present the organosandwich project in room SG0211 together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems (IMWS). ThermHex is a main sponsor of the event and once again underlines its pioneering role in the world of honeycomb cores.
