ThermHex Waben GmbH is one of this year’s nominees for the mid-sized company’s award “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes 2018”. Only one in every thousand companies in Germany reaches the nomination list for “Germany’s most coveted business award” (according to German newspaper “die WELT”) and thus the nomination alone can be regarded as a great honor. At the end of last year, the honeycomb core specialist from Halle (Saale) was nominated for the award for its outstanding performance in terms of overall development, innovation, commitment to the region and service. In the next step, an independent jury will decide which of the nominees will make it to the second round − the jury list. The finalists and award winners for every federal state will then be selected and awarded.
The mid-sized company’s award “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” has been organized by the Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation since 1995. The finalists and winners will be selected by twelve regional juries and a final jury based on five fixed competition categories.
