On December 7th, a joint workshop of the “Kunststoff-Zentrum SKZ” and ThermHex Waben GmbH took place for the second time. In Halle/Saale 15 participants gathered in the SKZ training center. The workshop guests came from all over the world, including Turkey, England, Greece, France and Italy. Among the guests there were existing satisfied ThermHex customers as well as potential new partners. In the workshop, participants were able to experience the molding of honeycomb cores and the further processing into sandwich components. In addition, the industry expert EJOT presented solutions for insert technology in the plastics sector.
The workshop was rounded off with a get-together in the evening. Topics related to material sciences, honeycomb panels, plastics and patents were discussed in a comfortable atmosphere and also performed in an entertaining way through a “science slammer”. ThermHex is very satisfied with the workshop: “For the second time, we were able to pass on detailed know-how about our products to some existing customers and potential new partners together with the SKZ. The participants were particularly interested in the processing possibilities. We are already looking forward to the next workshop”, said managing director Jochen Pflug.
